FIRST LEGO League robot building competition – full scale project management

Remy (BPI Group Hungary Ltd.) decided to be both the sponsor and the organizer of FLL robotics competition in Miskolc. The company’s CSR strategy, which was developed by our agency, put emphasis on education and innovation, therefore the FLL international competition was perfectly in align with their goals.

Our tasks were to join the company to the FIRST LEGO League international program and provide comprehensive project management for the first regional competition in Miskolc organized and sponsored by the company.

We were responsible for the followings:

We elaborated the organizational and executional standards of the Miskolc competition, adapted the competition’s mechanism to the local environment with strong cooperation with the team of the international foundation.

Our team organized every detail of the one day-long event with 12 teams including, following the minute by minute schedule with 200 participants and 200 visitors.

We planned and manufactured the full design and decoration of the event, which later became benchmark within the FLL international competition series.

We created a successful PR campaign to accompany the event in local and national media.

Our agency effectively engaged employees by involving them in the project.

The Miskolc regional FLL competition was a huge success among the schools, as well as the foundation responsible for organizing the international competition.

Both the standards and processes of the project and the event management represented the highest level of professionalism, and as a result, the foundation recognized the achievement by providing the possibility to the company to organize the 2018 Central-European regional final. This trust was never earned before by a new city.
