We define a character for the company – employer branding campaign project management

 
Due to the dynamic growth of their customers’ order and the establishment of an international R&D center, HBPO Automotive Hungária Ltd. asked our agency to form a remarkable employer image in its region where the unemployment rate is around 1,5% and support their hiring plan aiming to hire twice of their existing headcount.

We created a complex plan based on a full-fledged strategic concept, also a several month long marketing campaign, to build the employer image of the company from the beginning.

  • Both the name of the company and their main product were unknown to mainstream audience. As a first step, we created a slogan that is understandable, memorable and clearly defines the activity of the company.
  • Then, we designed a local image to support the slogan visually and is strong, but fits the German headquarter’s strict standards. We applied that image consistently throughout every PR and marketing material.
  • We created eye-catching and easy to understand content that highlights the interesting parts, and use them via online and print platforms, like press materials, PR articles, company brochures and each step of the recruitment process.
  • We supported the recruitment with the planning and execution of an intense campaign. For two months, the company’s ads were highly visible in outdoor (citylight, billboard) and media (local radio station, daily news, news portal, free, weekly magazines) platforms, as well as in Facebook and in the biggest online job portal. We also integrated other unconventional locations into the campaign that our target audience frequents: occupational physician’s office, trains, and regional bus stops.
  • We created image videos with different target audience in mind. We managed the whole process of creating the videos, starting with topic selection and script writing to all production related tasks. Videos were presented at company events, job fairs and social media sites.
  • Our team also organized an open day for potential new colleagues, where they could get a glimpse of the company’s operation, receive information on the current jobs in person, get to know their future colleagues, and had the opportunity to apply for a particular job onsite.
  • We designed, produced and installed the booth and the decoration planned for the job fair onsite, and provided all the informational and promotional materials.

As a result of our complex approach, the recruitment process was highly successful with almost 10x more applicants in an over-saturated labor market, and this communication campaign that significantly contributed to the company’s visibility, had noticeable effect years later.
